This unique and challenging adventure race offers a short course (3-5 hours) or a long course (7-10 hours) for two- or four-person teams competing together in a day of mountain biking, running, canoeing, orienteering and more. The real adventure is in the itinerary and race distances, which are kept secret until the morning of the race. The short course gives beginners or first time racers an opportunity to try the sport, while still offering a great challenge. - The event is popular among regional “weekend warriors” and is the largest annual fundraiser for our community’s growing greenway trail network. All proceeds go directly to the work of Ozark Greenways, the non-profit citizens’ organization working to build and promote more trails as well as support Springfield Public Works’ growing on-street bike route system.
