Ordinary Heroes: One Hundred Plus Years of Those Who Protected and Served Springfield and Greene County

The exhibit will showcase the heroic men and women who have protected and served the citizens throughout Greene County’s history Springfield Police Department, the Springfield Fire Department, the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol will be featured. This exhibit will showcase the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of these departments.

NAREK HAKHNAZARYAN, cellist

Armenian cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan won First Prize in the 2008 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, and in 2011 captured the First Prize and Gold Medal in the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. His father is a violinist, and his mother is a pianist. Mr. Hakhnazaryan plays a 1698 David Tecchler cello, on loan from Valentine Saarmaa, granddaughter of the renowned luthier Jacques Francais.
