This year's featured speaker will be Major Norman Grainger from Springfield, Missouri Corps of the Salvation Army. - - The Greater Springfield Easter Sunrise Celebration is open to anyone that wants to celebrate Easter in a beautiful outdoor setting at sunrise. The Jamboree will be held on June 8-9, 2012 on the grounds of American Legion Post 639, 2660 S. Scenic Avenue in Springfield, Missouri. From the young ages of 10-15, the kids of NRG study music at the Pellegrino’s School of Music and Art in Springfield and on Saturday, July 14th – they will be performing an eclectic mix of Rock N’ Roll, covering four decades, from Pink to Pink Floyd. The dance portion of this performance will feature members/students from Dance Branson Studio. Both of these groups are very excited to have this opportunity to promote kids’ arts programs through the Branson Arts Council, so be sure to join us to see first-hand, these very talented group of kids.
