The exhibit will showcase the heroic men and women who have protected and served the citizens throughout Greene County’s history Springfield Police Department, the Springfield Fire Department, the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol will be featured. This exhibit will showcase the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of these departments.

This will ensure that those SIX families will be moved into their new homes before June 1! - - Habitat for Humanity has many avenues to help with the SIX BY SIX Challenge for individuals 16+ and we would love to have you join us. Just Kick It Coed Kickball Tournament

Location: Strafford Sports Complex
Admission: $200 a team. Each team must consist of at least 10 players (minimum 3 female 7 male). Making the cost $20 per player. This includes a t-shirt for each player. Payment and registration is due by May 5th. If registration is received after t-shirts will not be guaranteed the day of the event.

This event is a coed kickball tournament benefiting the Arc of the Ozarks No Limits summer camp. This tournament will take place May 19th at Strafford Sports Complex. Check-in will start at 8am with games beginning at 9am. Please visit the Arc of the Ozarks website for more information!

Care Improvement Plus invites Springfield-area seniors to the Health, Wellness and Safety Expo. Hosted by the Southwest Missouri Office on Aging, this event offers seniors a direct link to community resources that promote healthy, independent living for senior citizens, their families and caregivers. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive free health screenings including shingles vaccinations, cholesterol screenings and diabetes testing. Additionally, there will be live entertainment, a talent contest, cooking demonstrations, a safety seminar, foot clinic and free use of mobility devices.

Run for a Child is a simple and healthy way to help make a difference in our community and help abused and neglected children throughout the Ozarks. - Run For A Child encourages participants of all ages! Participants can join in the fun by forming a team of 4+ people. Each person on a team is asked to raise a minimum of $25 that will go benefit CASA. However, participants are welcome to go above and beyond the $25 goal, as teams who hit certain fundraising goals will be awarded prizes*. (If you are unable to participate in the fundraising component, but would like to still run, you can pay the $20(advance)/$25(on the day of the event) to participate in the Run itself!) - - Fundraising is not the only part of this event. Teams will be able to participate in the Run on Saturday, April 14, at 8:00am for the 5K and 9:00am for the Family Fun Walk/Run. Although Run for a Child is all about having fun and helping make a difference in our community, we can't leave out the competitive spirit!
