Just Kick It Coed Kickball Tournament

Red, White & Tuna takes us back to the tiny Texas town and into the hearts and minds of the polyster-clad citizens all played by two lightening-quick costume and wig changing actors. The town folks are busy with a trio of events: a 4th of July renunion and fireworks display, a wedding, and a pageant. Romantic mix-ups, the selection of a home-coming queen, a UFO sighting, hymns that need to be censored and some really bad potato salad set the stage for a show full of fireworks, side-splitting laughs and lots of fun.

This gospel group was voted 2012 Midwest Gospel Group of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America. All proceeds benefit the children at The Kitchen's Family Nurturing Center. - If running is not your sport....bring your puppy for the one-mile Mutt Strutt. There's even a special pet costume contest with celebrity judges, plus vendors and nonprofit agencies from our animal community. This event is held at City Utilities Main Office, 301 East Central. Robot Workshops continue to be a great learning adventure for both parents and children. Both parent and child will work closely with Discovery Center staff to build a functional robot, All Terrain Robot (8+). Learn about following technical directions, plus how gears, circuits, and other mechanical parts work together. These are very popular classes and usually fill fast.
