“The Sweetest Little Market in Town” offers up fresh goods and handcrafted item and features local musicians from 10am to noon. At noon, C-Street Market vendors will be joined with live traditional music & dance, streetwide sidewalk sale, fun kids activities in the district's first annual Rhythm & Boom celebration of the coming of the railroad to Springfield on nearby tracks.

Traditional music, dance and festivities celebrate the coming of the Railroad to Springfield at Historic Commercial Street in 1870. An opening-day celebration for the seasonal C-Street Market and a districtwide open house will feature the artisans, eateries and friendly merchants that make Historic C-Street a favorite destination both for locals and guests to our area.
