Dates: Wednesday, April 25, 2012 - Friday, April 27, 2012
Location: Vandivort Center Theatre

One of the most infamous scandals in financial history is transformed into a theatrical epic event. Mixing classical tragedy with savage comedy, the play follows a group of flawed men and women in a narrative of greed and loss that explores the tumultuous 1990s and casts new light on the financial turmoil in which the world now finds itself. Inspired by real-life events and using music, movement, projections, pop culture and pure theatricality, Enron captures the economic free-for-all that precipitated the collapse of the energy giant in the wake of the greatest white-collar crime in American history. "There is superb clarity in Prebble's story-telling as well as high drama...that brings the mysterious world of high finance to vivid, comprehensible life." - The Daily Telegraph. A Springfield area premiere. This production contains adult language and situations. - -

Romantic mix-ups, the selection of a home-coming queen, a UFO sighting, hymns that need to be censored and some really bad potato salad set the stage for a show full of fireworks, side-splitting laughs and lots of fun.

Broadway's long running comedy-thriller by Ira Levin (Rosemary's Baby), directed by Joe Bowman. Sidney, an older, washed-up playwright, arranges to meet with younger writer Clifford at Sidney's rustic Connecticut home to discuss Clifford's first attempt at authoring a play. Sidney clearly covets the play, which casts doubt as to whether Clifford will leave the cabin alive. "Two-thirds a thriller and one-third a devilishly clever comedy."

Admission: $25.00 Adult - $22.00 Senior (62+)/Student/Military - $15.00 Children (ages 14 and under)

If you’ve even wondered about what might go on backstage during a play, Noises Off offers some priceless, spectacularly funny, comic insight. Called the funniest farce ever written, Noises Off is a play within a play about a miguided production of a comedy called “Nothing On.” We follow the production from final rehearsals through opening night and onto the tour finding that what’s happening on stage can’t compare to what’s happening backstage. If you love a really good laugh, Noises Off is just a ticket. “A spectacularly funny, peerless backstage farce. This dizzy, well known romp is a festival of delirium.” – The New York Times
