Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, MO is working with multiple organizations, individuals, and businesses to complete SIX homes between March 1st and May 20th. This will ensure that those SIX families will be moved into their new homes before June 1! - - Habitat for Humanity has many avenues to help with the SIX BY SIX Challenge for individuals 16+ and we would love to have you join us. This project will only has a 1000 volunteer spots to be filled, spots are filling up quickly, so contact us to save your spot on this amazing set of builds! C-Street Market, the sweetest little market in town, gathers every Saturday from 8am to 1pm mid-April through mid-October. Nestled under a beautiful, shaded, sculptural red pavilion designed and built by students from Hamons School of Architecture, shoppers will find a leisurely environment in the shadow of the Jefferson Avenue Footbridge. Artisan vendors are small-scale farmers, bakers, crafters and neighbors with gardens who blend an appreciation of simpler times with the desire for a more friendly and intimate market experience. C-Street Market Kickoff Celebration

At noon, C-Street Market vendors will be joined with live traditional music & dance, streetwide sidewalk sale, fun kids activities in the district's first annual Rhythm & Boom celebration of the coming of the railroad to Springfield on nearby tracks.

First Annual Rhythm on the Rails

Traditional music, dance and festivities celebrate the coming of the Railroad to Springfield at Historic Commercial Street in 1870.
