Nova Center of the Ozarks is sponsoring a Springfield Cardinals Baseball game Friday May 4, 2012 at 7pm to benefit its consumers. At Nova, we serve individuals diagnosed with a variety of developmental disabilities. Our goal as an agency is to help these individuals become active participants in their community and to obtain the highest quality of life possible. The individuals we care for live on a very limited income. There is very little money left over each month, from their benefits, after they pay their room and board. Because of this, many are limited as to what they can do in the community. Not everything is “free” when it comes to community activities. We use fundraisers like these to help those that have little family support and limited income so they can go to a movie, or just get to go out and eat on occasion. - Tickets are $8.00.
