Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, MO is working with multiple organizations, individuals, and businesses to complete SIX homes between March 1st and May 20th. This will ensure that those SIX families will be moved into their new homes before June 1! - - Habitat for Humanity has many avenues to help with the SIX BY SIX Challenge for individuals 16+ and we would love to have you join us. This project will only has a 1000 volunteer spots to be filled, spots are filling up quickly, so contact us to save your spot on this amazing set of builds! PechaKucha Night Vol. 6 will be on May 12, 2012 at The Creamery Arts Center starting at 7pm. Community members are invited to present on a topic of their choosing. This is for everyone - students, emerging professionals, and seasoned presenters. Presenting at PechaKucha Night is such a great way to brush up on your public speaking skills in a casual environment, learn something new about Springfield, and expand your network!

13th Annual Ozark Greenways Adventure Race

This challenging multisport race will offer a short-course and a long-course for four- and two-person teams competing together mountain biking, running, canoeing, orienteering and more. Stomp the Blues Out of Homelessness Blues Festival

Kitchen 5k Fun Run & Mutt Strutt

Lace up your running shoes and join us for the 21st annual Kitchen 5k Fun Run & Mutt Strutt on May 12, presented by the CU Community Credit Union. All proceeds benefit the children at The Kitchen's Family Nurturing Center. - If running is not your sport....bring your puppy for the one-mile Mutt Strutt. There's even a special pet costume contest with celebrity judges, plus vendors and nonprofit agencies from our animal community. This event is held at City Utilities Main Office, 301 East Central. Evangel University Auxiliary Colossal Sale

Clothing, small appliances, jewelry, books, office items, toys, furniture and other household goods will be among the items for sale in the Mabee Fitness Center, located on the northwest side of the Evangel campus. This annual sale raises funds for scholarships and projects at the university.
