The exhibit will showcase the heroic men and women who have protected and served the citizens throughout Greene County’s history Springfield Police Department, the Springfield Fire Department, the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol will be featured. This exhibit will showcase the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of these departments.

Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, MO is working with multiple organizations, individuals, and businesses to complete SIX homes between March 1st and May 20th. This will ensure that those SIX families will be moved into their new homes before June 1! - - Habitat for Humanity has many avenues to help with the SIX BY SIX Challenge for individuals 16+ and we would love to have you join us. This project will only has a 1000 volunteer spots to be filled, spots are filling up quickly, so contact us to save your spot on this amazing set of builds! Springfield Indian Artifact Show

Over 170 - 200 tables displaying arrowheads, stone axes, pipes, ancient pottery, bone and shell items. Collectors from 8 states will be buying, selling, and trading artifacts. Authenticators will be on hand to certify artifacts for a small fee. - - You are welcome to bring your artifacts in to sell or have identified. We also buy collections. Contact Stephen Burks for more information. - - Table Information: Eight foot tables are available @ $35 per table for dealers and $25 per table for display only collectors. Security is provided on Friday night for all display tables.

Robot Workshops continue to be a great learning adventure for both parents and children. Both parent and child will work closely with Discovery Center staff to build a functional robot, All Terrain Robot (8+). Learn about following technical directions, plus how gears, circuits, and other mechanical parts work together. These are very popular classes and usually fill fast.
