Are you ready for the rock festival you wont ever forget! Springfield’s 1st Annual Rock-N-Rubber will feature dozens of bands, the hottest motorcycles and choppers from around the area. Amazing national rock acts, local and regional rock bands as well as the motorcycle show! - - Get your tickets early for this all ages show. This show is a 2 day event starting on Saturday May 19th and going strong until Sunday May 20th. Gates open at 10am and the show starts at noon each day. Nixa Sucker Day

A local barber named Finis Gold started Nixa Sucker Day in 1957, and it has since been a longstanding tradition with the people of Nixa, Missouri. Locals would often close up shop and skip school for the day to go grabbin’ for Suckers. The fish were then frozen until there was enough for a big fish fry. Nixa Sucker Day was the result of this annual tradition. This event provides fun for the whole family, along with good food and lots of entertainment.

Oinklawn Downs 28th Annual Pig Races for Charity

Admission: $10 sponsor fee per pig, per race.
The Cape Fair Eagles Aerie 4278 presents the 28th Annual Oinklawn Downs Pig Races for Charity. The day's activities include great BBQ, craft and vendor booths, children's beauty pageant, children's games, raffles, performances by local talent and of course the Pig Races. All proceeds go to charity. There will be a street dance in the evening with music by DJ Jim and an on-site cash bar.

Civil War reenactors stage battles, skermishes and skits throughout the day. Civil War fashion show. Hulston Mill, dating from the 1870's, is operational and corn will be ground throughout the weekend. Concessions available.
