One special pool event for outdoor pool season in Springfield is the Splash N’ Sizzle weekends, which run 5:30 – 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, July 1 – 30 at Doling, Grant Beach, Silver Springs and Westport Pools. Fassnight and Meador Pools will be open from 5:30 – 8 p.m. on Saturdays only for the Splash N’ Sizzle weekends.
