Join us for a special workshop just for girls! What in your DNA makes you a girl? (the XX Chromosome was discovered by a woman!) - Spa Science - learn the chemistry behind spa essentials like bath fizzers and salts. Explore color by building your own drawbot (drawing robot) and designing a shirt using chromatography. The science behind nail polish - magnets, color changing, crackle. Toy and game design. Use the scientific method to examine polymers - one to give off good smells, and one to absorb nasty ones. Female scientist/inventor of the day and coordinating activities for each. -
