Ordinary Heroes: One Hundred Plus Years of Those Who Protected and Served Springfield and Greene County

The exhibit will showcase the heroic men and women who have protected and served the citizens throughout Greene County’s history Springfield Police Department, the Springfield Fire Department, the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol will be featured. This exhibit will showcase the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of these departments.

Endurocross Motorcycle Racing

Head to the Fairgrounds to see man and machine put to the ultimate test of endurance, speed, balance and skill on a dirt bike. A full gate of the top pro’s and amateurs will spring over obstacles in a mix of super cross and enduro format on a course that will include 20 6 foot loader tires, 2 cars, a truck of basketball sized rock, loads of telephone poles and logs all inside the arena to challenge all the riders.
