We round out our classical series with Brahms' well-developed and remarkable Piano Concerto No. 1 performed by Martina Filjak the most recent winner of the prestigious Cleveland International Piano Competition. In this concert we also present the unique Farewell Symphony by Haydn in which he asks the musicians to leave one by one until there is no one left. For this performance we pay tribute to those who lost their lives on the Titanic 100 years ago. - -
