Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday only - 9am-4pm

Families in need from any county in Southwest Missouri are invited to register for free school supplies and clothing for school-age children grades K-12. Please bring along these documents:

Performing Arts Camp

July 22-26th, 2013 - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Are your kids filled with drama? Do they like to sing, dance, or act? Send your kids to Performing Arts Camp and we will channel their dramatic energy and teach them how to put on a show in one week! The kids will learn acting basics, musical theatre song and dance and will have an opportunity to present an informal performance for their parents and friends on the final day of the camp.

Dig for delicious worms, swim in peanut butter and hike to an underground cave filled with fossils and dinosaurs! Dino's interactive show will draw you in with funny characters, lots of action, music and stories.

Veterans Writing Project

Thursday, July 25, 2013 - 6:30 pm for adults.

Whatever your stories or viewpoints from your military service, an upcoming workshop will help you find a creative way to express your thoughts. Stories from those with military experience also help individuals and communities to understand one another during wartime and peacetime. The 90-minute sessions will include three weeks of creative nonfiction and three weeks of poetry, using the "Proud to Be" anthology as a reference text, and Tim O’Brien’s "The Things They Carried" and Bruce Turner’s "Here, Bullet." Springfield Plein Air is free and open to all, to encourage artists/painters of all walks, styles, and skills to participate and enjoy plein air painting here in the Ozarks.  Bring portable supplies, camera, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, and a good attitude!
