The SENEGAL ST. JOSEPH GOSPEL CHOIR was founded in 1950 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s Ambassador Artist for Peace, Mr. Julien Jouga, a fervent musician dedicated to the development of Catholic Choral singing of a diverse repertoire from Gregorian chants to polyphony inspired by the indigenous harmonic forms of Senegalese music.

Waterfowl And Wetland Conservation

Nov. 6 - 6-7pm

The success of Missouri's waterfowl and wetland habitats is due to skillful execution of well-designed plans, public and private partnerships, strong citizen support, and dedicated funding. A new book, Waterfowl Hunting and Wetland Conservation in Missouri—A Model of Collaboration, chronicles this success. Learn more about these conservation stories through a 15-minute presentation and meet one of the authors, David Graber, during this special book signing. The authors, many of them former waterfowl biologists and wetland managers, donated their services to produce the book. Sponsors—anchored by Bass Pro Shops, Missouri Department of Conservation, Ducks Unlimited, Conservation Federation of Missouri, Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation, and private citizens—covered production costs. All net proceeds from book sales will be dedicated to wetland and waterfowl conservation. Federal duck stamps will also be available for purchase. No registration required.
