Located in Springfield's stately historic City Hall, the History Museum is dedicated to preserving the unique history of this region. The permanent exhibit traces local history from prehistoric times through the 1950s. Hands-on areas help younger visitors learn about the Native Americans, pioneers and soldiers who lived here. Rotating exhibits highlight various topics.
