If uber-fresh food straight from the farm is what you’re yearning for, Springfield offers plenty. From farmers’ markets to farm-to-table dining at many of the city’s restaurants, the food comes from right here in the Ozarks. And it couldn’t be better. Three farmers’ markets are open year-round in the city with varying hours and days. Be sure to check out the markets in the towns surrounding Springfield, too.

Farmer's Park.

Farmers Market of the Ozarks offers local foods, handcrafted gifts and other products. Live music will entertain while you shop and you can enjoy unique restaurants and shops at Farmers Park. The market is open year-round.

At Greater Springfield Farmers’ Market, you’ll find locally grown farm-fresh meats, milk and cheese; unique gifts for your home or garden; and plant growers always have seasonal offerings from cut bouquets to nursery stock.

Greater Springfield Farmers' Market.

C-street City Market bills itself as the city’s “sweetest little market” and features local produce, honey, soaps, baked goods, crafts and more. Once you’re done at the market, enjoy the shops and restaurants that make up the charming historic district known as C-Street.
