Fantastic Caverns.

Southwest Missouri is known for its many caves and we’ve got some good ones right around Springfield. Fantastic CavernsSmallin Civil War Cave and Talking Rocks Cavern are all unique spots to explore an Ozarks cave. And of course, there is the enormous Marvel Cave at Silver Dollar City that opens for this season March 12.

Baseball season is back and the MSU Baseball Bears return to the diamond for more home games in March.

National Christian HomeSchool Basketball Championships.

The 26th Annual National Christian HomeSchool Basketball Championships comes back to Springfield March 13-17. Players from more than two dozen states are expected to play in games at various venues in town. The games are free to the public.

Go Fishing

Enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks at one of our many fishing holes. Whether it’s dropping a line in the James River, fishing Table Rock Lake or Stockton Lake, southwest Missouri is well-known for its good fishing.

The famous 1880’s theme park in Branson opens for the season on March 15 for Spring Ride Days. Operating days and hours vary.

Play Some Mini-Golf

Visit Springfield’s Fun Acre Miniature Golf with its classic 18-holes and batting cages or check out Swing Right Golf, Mini Golf and Driving Range, located between Springfield and Nixa. They feature a driving range with lights and covered tees and an 18-hole miniature golf course, nine holes of which are handicapped accessible.

Celebrate Easter at the Farm

 

Easter at the Farm at Rutledge Wilson Farm Park.
