Gigs In The Garden

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and listen to live, local music at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park with Gigs in the Garden. The concerts are free to attend but a $10 donation is suggested. In the case of inclement weather, the concerts will move inside the adjacent Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center. Beer and wine are available for purchase.

Springfield Cardinals Games


Attend a Springfield Cardinals home game at Hammons Field. Keep an eye out for special promotional days such as $2 Hot Dog Tuesdays, Thirsty Thursdays and Friday night fireworks.

“Ozarks Lyric Opera Presents: Opera Rocks”

Ozarks Lyric Opera is hosting the rock-and-awe fundraiser of the year with a glam-gala concert of your favorite rock hits performed by the cast of “Pagliacci” and the epic stylings of M-Dock Band.

You don't have to wait until the fair to indulge in all your favorite fair foods. Tickets to the Corn Dog Kickoff include a full-size corn dog, two full-sized drinks, and endless fair food samples.

“Springfield Symphony: Flamenco!” Concert

Join the Springfield Symphony for a thrilling performance of flamenco music with Kansas City’s own flamenco group, Ensemble Iberica. Hear the rhythms and melodies of Spain as the orchestra is joined by guitar, percussion, and vocals.

Artsfest 2022

Presented by Great Southern Bank and hosted by the Springfield Regional Arts Council, Artsfest on Historic Walnut Street returns for its 41st year. One of the largest outdoor arts festivals in southwest Missouri, the festival features more than 90 artists from all over the country, live entertainment and delicious food.

Advanced tickets are available at There are two entry times to choose from each day: 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 1:30-5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, children 12 and under are free.

Missouri Beef Days

The inaugural Missouri Beef Days is a week-long celebration of all things beef, hosted by Missouri’s top beef-producing counties in the Ozarks, and highlighting the industry’s importance to the region, state, and nation. Attend beef tours, dine on delicious farm-raised products, attend concerts, rodeos and the Beef Days parade. All events are scattered around Bolivar.

Nixa Sucker Days

What started as a fish fry in 1957 has evolved into a three-day festival. Enjoy fried sucker fish, a parade, beer garden, live music, fair rides, arts and crafts vendors and more at Nixa Sucker Days.

“Paw Patrol Live!”

39th Annual Mid-America Street Rod Nationals

See more than 2,200 pre-1986 specialty vehicles at the 39th Annual Mid-America Street Rod Nationals. Highlights include street rods, cool vehicle customs, pick-ups, restored muscle cars, pre-touring cars and other speciality cars on display for public viewing.
