THEATRE ADMINISTRATION CAMP SESSION I
How do we plan a season? What goes on in the main office in preparation for a production? How does a show get marketed? How do we make a show profitable? How do our supporters get recognized? What goes into planning for each of our education offerings? What must be done to orchestrate the current camp and the next several summer camps? How do we juggle all of the pieces and parts?
Learn about the operations of SLT and be a part of making it all happen in Theatre Administration Camp held in conjunction with The Wizard of Oz Young Performers Edition.
Please Note: This is not a performance camp. Participants will be working in the SLT education and business offices under the direct supervision of the production/camp assistant. They will also have the opportunity to visit with each of the full-time SLT staff members and tour other area arts institutions.
Theatre Administration Camp will be held at the Landers Theatre, 311 East Walnut, day 1 and days 511, and at the SLT Education Facility, 237 South Florence Avenue, days 24. SLT will provide transportation to other area arts institutions for enrichment experiences and between the two Springfield Little Theatre facilities on a project by project basis.
