Rutledge Wilson Farm Park Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Recurring weekly on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday until Oct 25.

Some events listed here have been canceled or postponed due to the Covid-19 emergency. It is best to call ahead or check with the organizer's websites to verify the status of any local event.

The Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze open for the season Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Springfield-Greene County Park Board’s Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park, 3825 W. Farm Road 146, just west of Springfield city limits.

These attractions are open during regular farm park hours, Tuesdays through Sundays (closed Mondays), 9 a.m.-5 p.m. through Sunday, Oct. 25.

The Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze are the only two annual fall activities taking place at the Farm Park this year. The Harvest Fest and Haunted Trail, usually open weekends through October, are canceled this year due to COVID-19 prevention.

“We typically see 80,000 visitors a year at Harvest Fest and the Haunted Trail, and even with most of it outside, there’s just no way to keep that number of people safely spaced apart,” said Matt Coats, Superintendent of Special Facilities. “But folks get really spread out in the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, so those are two activities we can keep open. And by having those open every day, we hope to avoid crowding.”

Admission is free to Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park, as well as to the Pumpkin Patch and, this year only, to the Corn Maze. Pumpkins are sold by weight. Visitors should plan to spend about an hour meandering in the six-acre Corn Maze. View a map of the maze at

All visitors to any park, facility or trail are asked to keep a minimum six-foot distance from others, make sure they wash their hands frequently, avoid touching their faces, cover any coughs or sneezes, and please stay home if they are feeling any symptoms of illness. Bring your own water bottle. Face coverings may be required, including outdoors when a six-foot physical distance is not possible. For more information on COVID-19 prevention in Parks, visit

A thorough effort has been made by the Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB) to provide complete and accurate event listings. This information has been gathered from reliable sources, but it is still possible that all information may not be accurate. In addition, events are occasionally canceled, rescheduled, or postponed for a variety of reasons, and the SCVB is not always aware of these changes. As a result, the SCVB is not responsible for the accuracy of event information. It is recommended that participants verify information with the event organizer prior to attending or purchasing event tickets.
