Have you signed up for the Missouri Travel Council workshop set for 9:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. May 18 at Old Kinderhook in Camdenton?

Developing a Winning Sales and Marketing Plan will feature a panel of professionals discussing the importance and interaction of brand identity, marketing, promotion and sales at all different levels – state, creative agency, destination and resort/attraction. The panel includes Dan Lennon, director of the Missouri Division of Tourism; Will Foust, account executive for H & L Partners; Joe Ward, executive director of the Greater Saint Charles CVB; and Susan Smith, general manager at the Welk Resort in Branson.

In the afternoon session, attendees will break out into groups that best fit them. Each group will have a facilitator that will take them through a SWOT analysis specific to their industry segment.

Cost is $45 for members and $60 non-members. Lunch is included. Payment can be mailed with the registration form or online.

The Lodge at Old Kinderhook is offering a special group rate of $99 plus tax to attendees arriving on May 17, the day before the workshop. To make a reservation, call (573) 317-4314 and reference the Missouri Travel Council Educational Workshop.  Make your reservation as soon as possible.
