After brewing up a popular rewards program last year for local coffee shops, the Convention & Visitors Bureau is launching the Ozarks Coffee Trail for a second year on Oct. 7.
Participants will register, then use a smartphone to check in using a four-digit code provided by each shop; there is no app to download. Each check in earns 10 points and those who reach 100 receive a limited-edition Ozarks Coffee Trail ceramic travel mug until Sept. 30, 2023 or while supplies last.
“We saw tremendous engagement with last year’s trail and are thrilled to bring it back for year two with new stops not only in Springfield but in our surrounding communities,” said Megan Buchbinder, marketing director for the CVB. “Even if you participated in the trail last year, it’s a fun way to visit some of the new shops on the trail or try a new beverage at an old favorite.”
Participating coffee shops include:
- Echelon Coffee
- Eurasia Coffee Co.
- Big Momma’s Coffee & Express Bar
- Black Lab Coffee Co.
- Kingdom Coffee
- Classic Rock Coffee
- Mudhouse Coffee
- Seattle Roast Coffee
- Green House Coffee + Affogato Bar
- Brick & Mortar Coffee
- Traveller’s House Coffee & Tea
- Scooter’s Coffee
- Dancing Mule Coffee Co.
- Roots Coffee Bar
- Copper Canyon Coffee Roasters
- The Baked Bean
- The Workshop at Finley Farms
- Adventure Coffee Co.
- Pretty in Pink Coffee
The coffee trail is modeled after the Ozarks Tap and Pour Craft Beverage Tour the CVB started in 2018 with local breweries, wineries and distilleries. Tap and Pour rewards this year are a unique sticker after five check ins and a T-shirt after 10. Those who visit every participating business will be entered to win the Ultimate Ozarks Craft Beverage Gift Basket with gift cards and merchandise from the merchants on the tour.
