Volunteering with Visit Springfield is a great opportunity to connect with the city you live in and share your passion with our visitors.

As a Visit Springfield volunteer, you will:

Where YOU CAN HELP

Airport Information Center

Engage with travelers arriving to Springfield at the airport.

Route 66 Visitor Center

Chat with national and international visitors traveling Route 66.

Administration & Event Booth

Assist with light administrative work and support special event booths.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking individuals who are:

· Friendly and courteous
· Knowledgeable (or eager to learn) about Springfield
· Positive, professional and welcoming
· Willing to support our mission and represent Springfield in a positive light

Volunteer Requirements:

· Punctual to scheduled hours
· Stay informed about local events and partners
· Effective communication about availability and schedule changes
