Journalists are exploring Springfield for stories about visiting Springfield.

Melinda Schnyder, a freelance writer from Wichita, was recently in Springfield for a taping of "The Mystery Hour" and other activities. Watch for her article in the "Wichita Eagle" and other media outlets.

Also headed to Springfield is Heather Baker, publisher of "AY Magazine," a lifestyle magazine in Arkansas. She will be in Springfield at the end of December.

John and Natalie Radzwilla, publishers of "Hook & Barrel" magazine, also will be in Springfield this month.
