Campgrounds & RV Parks

Springfield is a metropolitan area but it doesn’t lack in places for campers and RVers.

The Route 66 KOA offers long pull-thru RV sites, tent camping and all kinds of cabins. Amenities at this beautifully maintained site include cable TV, pool, pavilion, WiFi, firewood, snack bar and more. On the edge of the city off Interstate 44, this campground is easily accessible and has plenty of activities and attractions nearby.

Head north to Walnut Grove, home to 7C’s Winery for camping, wine and special events. Activities include disc golf, a biking trail and enjoying the peace and quiet of the outdoors.

Just north of the city is Cook’s RV Motor Park, “The Little Park with Big Heart.” Guests enjoy a quiet, shady retreat just off Route 66 and pets are welcomed with open and fenced areas available for them. Amenities include grills, and campfire sites, picnic tables, a dog wash and others.

Other RV parks and campsites are available in the city, in small towns nearby and in rural areas surrounding the city.
