You’ll notice a drop in tourist inquiries in May. The drop is due to changes in the CVB’s advertising schedule this year. Also note that tourist inquiries for the year are up by about 3,500 and, overall, Springfield’s tourism industry is faring well this year. Last but not least, tourist inquiry numbers previously reported have been adjusted as a glitch was discovered in prior inquiry reports.
