From showcasing all the things that make southwest Missouri a hidden gem and developing creative marketing that puts Springfield on the map, to promoting our city as a top-tier destination for meetings and events, we’re a part of it all.

What does Visit Springfield stand for?
Visit Springfield, Missouri exists to strengthen our local economy by inviting others to come, explore and enjoy everything we love about our city. We strive to be the only Springfield anyone will ever want to visit. And we believe that our city has what others don’t—the heart and soul of the Ozarks.
How did this rebrand come to life?
Visit Springfield, Missouri teamed up with Heart+Mind Strategies, a marketing research firm, who used an insights-driven approach to lay the foundation for our rebrand. This involved surveys, interviews and focus groups with community members and visitors (past and potential). With those insights, we then partnered with local advertising agency, Revel Advertising, to bring the messaging to life with a fresh brand voice, logo, graphics, and more.
Why rebrand?
At Visit Springfield, Missouri, we’ve always celebrated the spirit of our city—a special place constantly growing and evolving with new and amazing gems popping up for people to discover. Our rebrand process focused on what locals and visitors love most about Springfield and the Ozarks, and then we shaped those insights into a message that truly resonates. Because, after all, everything we do is about inspiring new visitors to choose Springfield and the Ozarks as their next adventure for the betterment of our city.
A change in name, but not in mission.
Before our rebrand, Visit Springfield, Missouri was known as the Springfield, Missouri Convention and Visitors Bureau. Our mission and vision are the same. We’ve always committed ourselves to showcasing Springfield and the region as a must-visit destination to economically enhance our community. That has not changed. But just as our city has grown and evolved, so must we!
