In October, the Convention & Visitors Bureau provided convention services to 10 groups with nearly 6,000 delegates that generated more than 3,800 room nights at area hotels.
The bureau also booked the Shallow Exploration Drillers Clinic for April 2013, Society of American Military Engineers for August 2014, Premier Baseball Senior Championships for July 2013 and the Street Machine Nationals for September 2013, 2014 and 2015.
