The Convention & Visitors Bureau is accepting nominations for the 2017 Salute to Travel & Tourism Awards through Dec. 5.

Nominations for these prestigious awards honoring individuals and businesses making a positive impact on Springfield-area tourism can be made in five categories and multiple nominations are accepted by filling out this online form.

Mark your calendar and for the awards banquet set for Feb. 16 at the Ramada Plaza & Oasis Convention Center. Details about ticket sales will be announced soon.
