CVB staff represent Springfield in a variety of activities, including trade shows, legislative events, educational programs and others. Below are activities in which the bureau will or has recently participated.

• Four CVB staff members represented Springfield's tourism industry at Capitol Days for Tourism March 7-8 in Jefferson City.
• Marketing director Laura Whisler, HR/finance manager Karen Smith and sales director Dana Maugans will attend the SMI D3000 Conference in Louisville in April.
• Sales manager Melissa Evans and Chris Huffington with University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center will represent Springfield at the Collaborate Marketplace in April in Las Vegas.
