The Missouri Department of Economic Development and Greene County are accepting applications for American Rescue Plan Act funds for businesses, nonprofits, community development, etc.

Missouri Department of Economic Development

The Missouri Department of Economic Development has an online Request for Information form to fill out that will help in determining how the funding will be allocated by the state. The deadline to fill out the form is March 18.

Responses are not applications but all respondents will be added to DED’s communication list for notification, if and when applications become available.

Program categories include tourism, workforce, business and community development and broadband.

Greene County

The Greene County Commission established the Community Impact Program to help in grant application and allocation processes.

Applications should be for projects with lasting community benefit and provide multiple levels of benefits for those affected by the pandemic.

Requests for Proposals are due to the county by March 18. They should be addressed to Dr. Lyle Q. Foster and emailed to ARPinfo@greenecountymo.gov. If applicants wish to mail their proposals, call the Greene County ARPA team at 417-799-1563 for instructions.

Funding proposals that don’t meet the listed recommendations will still have the opportunity to apply for County ARPA funds. The applications for small businesses and nonprofits should be available this spring.
