The CVB’s group sales department is planning a telemarketing sales blitz for Aug. 8-9 and staff members are representing the city at a variety of trade shows and other events where they can network with meeting planners.
Recent and upcoming events include:
- Christian Meetings & Conventions Association Marketplace
- Society of Government Meeting Planners
- Meeting Professionals International World Education Conference
- Destination Marketing Association International Annual Convention
The sales department also hosted meeting planners at two Springfield Cardinals baseball games in June.
