Sales Department Continues Bringing Groups to City

The CVB's Sales Department and Springfield Sports Commission participate in a variety of activities to bring groups to Springfield. In January and February, for example, staff will represent Springfield at the Professional Convention Management Association Convening Leaders Convention and the Religious Conference Management Association.

Due to the efforts, a variety of groups recently selected Springfield including the Dement Family Association in 2015 (79 room nights) and in 2014 The Chosin Few - Army Chapter (255 room nights), SpyderFest (3,220 room nights), Premier Baseball Freshman Championships (1,500 room nights), Premier Baseball Senior Championships (1,000 room nights) and National Christian Homeschool Spring Nationals (494 room nights).
