More than 1,200 people from around the globe are expected to be in Springfield for the largest Spyder rally in the world April 27-May 1 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.
Spyderfest U.S. 2016 will involve hundreds of the colorful three-wheeled Can-Am roadsters cruising the streets and the public is invited to check them out.
Vendor Village is one event during Spyderfest that is open to the public from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. April 27-30 at the fairgrounds along with the Byke & Light Show scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. April 28 in the parking lot of University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center. Both are free admission.
Spyderfest participants also can do a passport run to multiple hotspots around the Ozarks or go on multiple group rides. Evenings are full of events as well, such as Spyder Games, BBQ, a Casino Night, Pie Run and Prize Auction.
Registration for the five-day rally will open at 9 a.m. April 27 at Pitbull Powersports, 1332 N. Glenstone Ave. All motorcycles are welcome!
Spyderfest, organized by the owners of Pitbull PowerSports and a group of volunteers called MoGang, also will raise money for Isabel’s House crisis nursery in Springfield and the Road Warrior Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping veterans injured during service by providing epic adventure trips -- Adventure Therapy -- as one of the steps in the rehabilitative process.
