Dirt 66: Fellows Lake Trail
Located at 4200 E. Farm Rd. 66 in Springfield, the 800-acre property is part of the Ozark Greenways trails. With more than 25 miles of intersecting natural surface trails out here, you can enjoy views of the lake and travel through the Missouri woods. The trails are open from sunrise to sunset, and there are pavilions if your family wants to make a whole day of it.
Two Rivers Bike Park
With more than 14 miles of built and maintained track, both mountain bikers and runners enjoy Two Rivers Bike Park. The single track goes through 400 acres of Ozarks terrain at 5055 Two Rivers Rd., Highlandville. The trails include beginner to advanced loops, and the park is sponsored by TrailSpring, connecting people and outdoor fun.
Howler Bike Park
One of the newest bike adventures in the area is Howler Bike Park at 3410 U.S. Hwy. 65, Walnut Shade. The park is designed for mountain bikers who like a challenge. It’s a downhill experience, where riders take gear to the top and choose how to make it down.
Sac River Mountain Bike Trail
This 300-acre park has more than 14 miles of single-track trails that wind through the woods. It's a popular weekly spot for group rides, and the Little Sac River is on the west side of the park near a picnic pavilion. The trail head is 3 miles north of I-44, off of Kansas Expressway. Spot the brown sign marking the westbound turn.
