The Red Room Lounge at Flame Steakhouse is a popular place for cocktails and appetizers.

Where to Go

Scotch & Soda
Be polite, imbibe responsibly and have fun is all they ask of you at downtown Springfield’s Scotch & Soda. This eclectic whiskey bar is known for its relaxed atmosphere, creative libations and extensive collection of scotch and whiskey.

Red Room Lounge at Flame Steakhouse
One of downtown Springfield’s hidden gems, the Red Room Lounge, is the spot to go for unique infused cocktails after a delicious dinner at Flame Steakhouse (home of the Red Room Lounge). Get amazing deals on delicious burgers and drink specials during early bird and late night happy hours.

Ernie Biggs
Two words — dueling pianos. Springfield’s only dueling piano bar claims to be the center of downtown nightlife — and rightly so. The carefree atmosphere and piano singalongs of your all-time favorite hits at Ernie Biggs make for a fun date night or night out with friends. “Think Bigg and Sing Loud” at Ernie Biggs.

Patton Alley Pub
Patton Alley Pub is the place to go to relax and get away from it all for just a bit. Its laid back vibe, craft beers you won't find at other bars, extensive bar menu and weekly live music has locals and visitors alike coming back for more. Trivia nights, tap takeovers and beer pairings help round out this comfy neighborhood pub.

Dublin’s Pass Irish Pub & Restaurant
With two locations in Springfield — downtown and southside — Dublin’s Pass is the place to go for authentic Irish cuisine, pints of Guinness and live music. Pub trivia is featured every Monday night at both locations and during early evening and late night happy hours. Tip: try the classic fish and chips battered in Guinness.

Parlor 88 Lounge & Eatery
This chic, social hot spot has become the place to be on the city’s south side. Parlor 88 Lounge & Eatery offers up a modern atmosphere, sophisticated and delicious food options and an extensive drink menu. Relax around the indoor fireplace or in the outdoor patio.

Lindberg’s Tavern
Stepping into Lindberg’s Tavern on Springfield’s historic Commercial Street (C-Street) is one of those times when you wonder, “If only these walls could talk.” And if they could, they’d have quite a story to tell of the oldest tavern in the city. Lindberg’s features a fresh and daring take on traditional bar food. Burgers seared in duck fat, poutine (fries covered in gravy and cheese) and black-eyed pea hummus are popular items.

CB Social House
One of Springfield’s newer downtown establishments, CB Social House is a local butcher-centric restaurant and bar focusing on craft cocktails, great American beers and simple, carefully prepared food.

Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar
This classic American bar and restaurant is hugely popular with folks all over the Ozarks and now has five locations in the area, including three in Springfield. Known for wings and a well-rounded whiskey collection, Big Whiskey’s is perfect for date night, family night and everything in between.
