Thousands of people will be in Springfield this summer for conventions, car shows, amateur sports and other group events.

Those events will keep hotel cleaning crews, servers at area restaurants, retail clerks and other people who work in the travel industry busy taking care of those guests who are bringing millions into Springfield’s economy.

Below is a list of groups coming to Springfield in June, July and August. We encourage businesses to welcome those visitors with messages on their marquees and in other ways to make them feel welcome and enjoy their visits so they will return in the future and tell their friends about the great time they had in Springfield.

The list represents groups booked by the Convention & Visitors Bureau as well as groups booked directly through hotels. It does not represent every group coming to the city.
