The Convention & Visitors Bureau sales department represents Springfield at a variety of trade shows and other events designed to connect meeting and event planners with destination marketing organizations.

- Travel South Domestic Showcase (The CVB is working with the Missouri Division of Tourism to host a familiarization tour for 55 group tour planners attending the showcase taking place in Branson in March.)

Networking with planners helps the CVB staff better understand the needs of the planners and obtain leads ono upcoming events.
