When it comes to telling people Springfield is a great travel destination, getting media to produce positive stories about the things to see and do here is a sure way to do it.
The CVB public relations staff works year round with a variety of journalists to get those stories done, including hosting five journalists for a press tour Oct. 10-13 and representing the city at conferences catering to media.
Those conferences include the following:
- Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers
- Southeastern Outdoor Press Association
- Missouri Press Association
- Society of American Travel Writers
