If you love music, you’re in for a treat. Hear genres ranging from indie and alternative to hip-hop, funk, soul, electronic dance music and more on two different stages.

4. Check out interactive art installments and regional vendors
The festival is a quarter mile walkable experience, activating the under-utilitzed Robberson Alley in unexpected ways. As you stroll from wall to wall to watch the mammoth paintings unfold, check out a number of local and regional vendors showcasing some of the best the Ozark region has to offer. Food vendors, apparel, furniture, digital arts, and community organizations abound, you’re sure to find something you love. The festival runs through the charming downtown of Springfield where you’ll find a ton of great venues for lunch, or you can grab tasty grub from select food trucks near the main stage. When the sun sets, MIDxMIDWST heats up. This year, all festival passes provide entry to the MXtended Festival hours from 6-10 p.m. Saturday in the eFactory village area of the festival. The MXtended hours will host 2 headlining bands performing with an epic backdrop: an MXMW exclusive Silo Light Show by Denver-based 3D artists Waveform.exp. Watch dancers perform, dance to your heart’s content, enjoy the beer garden and cocktail bar inside the VIP Lounge area and have a chance to hang with the visual artists behind the murals.
