The Convention & Visitors Bureau has a variety of programs that help local businesses reach out to visitors.

More than 300 local businesses partner with the CVB to do just that, including Askinosie Chocolate.

"The CVB has been fantastic for our small chocolate factory/shop,” said Lawren Askinosie, director of sales and marketing. “Having worked with the CVB for a few years now, we can confidently say that it's provided nice exposure for our business locally and regionally and brought in lots of visitors who might have otherwise missed us or the unique destination that is Commercial Street. An international craft chocolate factory is a unique thing to have in your city, and we're appreciative of the support we've received from the CVB to help make our factory, C-Street and Springfield a place that folks want to visit."

The bureau welcomes the following Springfield businesses as new advertisers:

  • BransonShows.com
  • Clue Pursuit
  • Collegiate Awards
  • Eurasia Cafe
  • MO Shuttle
  • Ray’s Donuts
  • Royal Buffet Grill
  • Shabby Chic Bra Boutique
  • Swing Right Golf
  • Vintage Dance Lounge
  • The Wheelhouse

Along with local businesses, the CVB helps businesses outside city limits with the Marketing Partnership Program. New partners are:

  • Andy Williams Moon River Theatre
  • College of the Ozarks
