Please join your Missouri tourism industry colleagues from around the state for an update from the Missouri Division of Tourism (MDT) and a presentation on consumer-sentiment and messaging research from SMARInsights at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2020.
Tourism Director Stephen Foutes and MDT staff will give an overview of the Division's plans for an interim awareness campaign and future marketing efforts.

Industry marketing research expert Denise Miller, Executive VP of SMARInsights, will recap the results of the latest wave of coronavirus sentiment research — a cooperative effort in which MDT participated. The most recent research, which was the fifth wave of a multi-week survey, offered a few bright spots both nationally and closer to home in the Midwest.

This wave also focused on what is the appropriate “right now” messaging, where consumers evaluated their reactions to various options.
