The Springfield/Branson Regional Salute to Missouri Legislators Coalition announces its 2012 legislative event designed to promote the Springfield/Branson region and communicate legislative priorities to Missouri’s government leaders.
Now in its 27th year, the Springfield/Branson Regional Salute to Missouri Legislators reception will be on Wednesday, January 25, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City.
The Salute Coalition is comprised of ten area organizations that come together to present a unified message on regional legislative priorities. The event provides an opportunity for business, community and education leaders to meet with state officials to discuss legislative issues affecting the Springfield/Branson region.
Invited guests include members of the Missouri General Assembly, statewide elected officials and department directors. Nearly 600 people attend the Salute to Missouri Legislators reception each year.
Members of the Springfield/Branson Regional Salute to Missouri Legislators Coalition include: City of Springfield, City Utilities of Springfield, Greene County, Libraries & Arts Council Alliance, Missouri State University, Ozarks Technical Community College, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, Springfield Public Schools and Springfield Regional Economic Partnership.
