Members representing destination marketing organizations throughout the state were in Jefferson City Feb. 26-27 for the annual Capitol Days for Tourism event.

Springfield CVB staff spent the day Feb. 26 meeting with several legislators to encourage their support of increased funding for the Missouri Division of Tourism and on Feb. 27, the annual pancake breakfast in the capitol rotunda was conducted.

Legislators and their staff were invited to joins the tourism gang for breakfast and legislators were encouraged to cook the pancakes, a fun event that includes wearing aprons and flipping pancakes into the air for people to catch.
