The CVB works year round to bring groups to Springfield.

One of the Group Sales Department’s tactics is to attend trade shows and other events that give them opportunities for face-to-face interaction with meeting and event planners. Recent shows attended and upcoming events include Travel South Showcase, Destination Showcase, Kansas City Chapter of Meeting Planners International Professional Education Conference and Missouri Bank Travel Showcase.

Below is a list of groups that are coming to Springfield in the next several weeks. The list represents groups attracted to Springfield by CVB sales efforts and groups receiving convention services from the CVB. Not all groups were booked by the CVB. In many cases, meeting planners work directly with hotels to book their events and utilize convention services provided by the CVB.
