CVB Sales Department Promotes Springfield as a Group Destination

Staff members of the sales department at the Convention & Visitors Bureau participate in a variety of activities designed to bring group events to Springfield.

Recent and upcoming activities include:

CVB representatives will attend the Missouri Society of Association Executives Funfest golf tournament on September 28 and host the organization’s membership luncheon the following day in Jefferson City.
CVB sales manager Lisa Perez and a sales representative from University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center represented Springfield at Connect Marketplace August 27 - 29 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Perez also will represent Springfield at the Convention Industry Council’s Certified Meeting Planner Conclave September 26 - 28 in Reno.
Lance Kettering, executive director of the Springfield Sports Commission and CVB sports sales manager, and other Missouri sports organization representatives attended Connect Sports August 27 - 29 in Pittsburgh, PA.
The CVB will staff a booth at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce Business to Business Expo Oct. 1 at the Springfield Expo Center.
